Randall B. Wood

Principal/Instructor

2003-Present

Randall (Randy) Wood is our fearless leader here at I.T.S.  He has been working in aviation for over 40 years.  He holds senior administrative positions in several companies and has a font of extensive administrative knowledge on safety and efficiency in many different arenas of aviation.

Randy loves the classroom environment and continues to teach recurrent training courses.  When not in class or running I.T.S., he can be found in the skies flying a Gulfstream or out on the road cruising on his Harley.

An unwavering commitment to excellence and belief in performing to the highest possible standard has propelled Randy to the top of the Private Aviation Industry.

Steven Mesko

Lead Instructor/CPR, AED, First Aid Certification Instructor

2022-Present

Steven Mesko is our newest instructor at ITS. Steve came from 20 years in the Trucking and Transportation industry to make Aviation his second career. He has held a Director level position at his former employer, and has an extensive background in DOT Regulations, Safety, IT, as well as new hire onboarding and manager training.  He has logged approximately a million accident free miles behind the wheel of a semi truck.

Steve is an Instrument Rated, Commercial Single and Multi Pilot. He has been flying since 2016 and enjoys digging into the regulations, systems and procedures to find the why and how everything in the aircraft works. He volunteers for EAA Young Eagles, as well as Angel Flight East. Steve holds a Board position as Secretary of the Lehigh Valley Flying Club.

Steve spends his spare time running his daughters’ race  team “Supergirz Racing.” Building and maintaining their fleet of 4 dirt track race cars. He also enjoys downhill mountain biking and other outdoor activities. He is an avid computer builder and enjoys his extensive home flight sim.

Gerald Innella, Jr.

Project Manager/Instructor

2016-Present

Gerald’s (Jerry’s) job title at I.T.S. is Project Manager, however, his position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities.  Jerry supervises numerous accounts and projects, teaches initial and recurrent training courses, and oversees the MEL Department, amongst other duties.  Jerry’s special skills include explaining incredibly difficult ideas in ways that are easily comprehendible and never getting frustrated at silly questions.

Jerry has degrees in Astronomy and Astrophysics.  He retired as Commander in the U.S. Navy in 2010.  Since then, he has been a First Officer at United Airlines, Managed and Developed Aircraft Manuals and Captains a Falcon 900 and Falcon 20.

Jerry is a first officer on the B767 for United Airlines.  He spends his spare time with his family, on renovating his home and property, and he enjoys offshore racing.
